Why Lowered Foam?
Foam comes from Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, clinically proven to irritate the mucosa of the mouth. It’s ability to break and attract dirt in the mouth also means it will attract dirt onto itself on the teeth if the mouth is not thoroughly rinsed – which is usually the case, ie. that the mouth is not thoroughly rinsed.
Why include it at all then?
People are used to foam in toothpaste. To allow acceptability by the public, we add a little foam for which we add citrus into the herbal formulation to clean off the foam left behind.
How do you tell if the SLS is still present after rinsing?
Simple! After brushing and rinsing, using your newly rinsed brush, brush your teeth without toothpaste. Note the foam that appears on the brush and mouth. That is the SLS that has not been washed off. More of that attracts more plaque to stick to the teeth.
The taste of the toothpaste is mild. Why?
The natural flavors to do the work in the mouth are gentle to the system. This allows you to feel your teeth while brushing and taste your food after. Much time was spent to make it suitable for adults and children. Hope you enjoy the toothpaste!
Does it really reduce gum problems and sensitivity?
The herbs do the work. The toothpaste is only the carrier for the herbs to go into every crevice of your mouth.
